The moment where we already... 25 have waited years for, has finally arrived: the lustrum trip of 2024 is about to happen! And this time it promises to be an unforgettable winter adventure. In honor of our fifth anniversary, we take you on a journey through time, all the way back to the glory days of the Roman Empire – with a wink, Naturally!
Step into the time machine and travel with us to the enchanting Klobenstein (Collalbo), where we immerse ourselves in the world of the Roman Empire. The theme of this trip? “Emperors on Irons“! An unforgettable experience awaits us in Klobenstein: we explore the beautiful outdoor ice rink, organize epic snowball fights, let us be carried away on skis, and end the days with unforgettable parties and much more spectacle!
This is your chance to be part of a lustrum trip that will go down in history. Don't hesitate any longer and prepare for an adventure full of fun, fraternization and unique memories in the enchanting Klobenstein. We'll see you there!
Travel date and schedule
Let me take you on a journey full of adventure and fun during the TU anniversary holiday 2 February to 11 February. On Saturday morning, 3 February, we depart from Delft and reach our enchanting destination at the end of the day. But wait, this year we're doing it differently!
This time we will take our own cars instead of the bus, giving you more freedom to participate in different activities. We encourage participants to bring their own cars, and if there are not enough cars available, we will rent vans. This way you are assured of a flexible and comfortable trip.
On Sunday, 11 February, we start our return journey, and by evening we are safely home again. This way you can relax on Sunday evening and get back to work on Monday feeling fresh and fruity. Keep an eye on the exact departure times and boarding locations, because they will follow soon. This anniversary trip promises to be an unforgettable experience, so make sure you're there!
Accommodation
Our anniversary trip takes place in the beautiful Roman mountain landscape, where we feel at home in cozy bungalows. We are staying at the Residenz am Kaiserweg, the ideal base for our adventure.
And about the ice rink, it is only a short distance away 10 minutes drive from our property. So, even if you've never been on the ice before, you don't have to worry; ice fun is always within reach! 🏔️❄️
Cost and Payment
Costs for this already epic journey have been estimated at €500,- pp. This includes unforeseen costs, so there is a chance that the amount will be lower afterwards. Pay attention, the chance is present, so we can't guarantee this. As usual you pay for a total package: the transport up and down, your accommodation on site, eat Drink (including alcoholic refreshments) and skating are included in the price.
There will also be opportunities for undertaking activities outside the ice, these are outside the budget and you have to pay separately. Of course the costs are kept as limited as possible. Skiing and a mini city break are currently being researched, if you have more suggestions you can always contact the committee.
Because ELS have to advance different things, a deposit of €350 will be required,- requested. This will be at the end of December, after the payment of the student grant, debited from your account. So keep that in mind.
Subscribe and Unsubscribe
Registration is open from 3 november 12 hours to 10 november 12 hour. The maximum number of participants is now 36 people. To register you need to log in with an ELS account. Registration is on a dibs basis.

As usual, registration is going fast. Are you late? To compress, But please sign up on the reserve list if you do want to come. If someone unsubscribes, a spot will become available. In addition, there is a chance that more participants can join. So sign up!
From the moment you have registered you have a week to unsubscribe. If you want to unsubscribe after more than a week, then that is only possible if there is someone who can come in your place. We are not going to lower the number of participants. If no one can come in your place, you will unfortunately have to pay for all costs that are made for you (think especially about accommodation and transport).
