Effe Lekker Actief (ELA) is the activities committee of ELS. Every year they ensure that we participate in the Batavierenrace and they organize the cycling weekend in the Ardennes: WheELS.

This committee checks the money flows within ELS and acts if the treasurer makes mistakes. These former treasurers and board members must therefore have some understanding of terms such as positive balance and debtors and creditors.

Once a month, on Tuesday after the dry training, we eat together on X during the KnabbELS & chatELS. The cooks make sure there is a cooking crew, so that everyone can join a plate of food after the dry training.

The heart of the association is formed by the skating competitions. Almost every student skating association organizes an Inter University Tournament (IUT). ELS annually organizes the SoftELS IUT together with Softijs in Thialf. Daarnaast organiseert de wedstrijdcommissie dit jaar ook het NSK skeeleren in juni en het speciELS IUT in oktober.

To be recognizable on the ice rink and beyond, we have ELS clothing. There are, among other things, skating suits, cycling clothing and casuELS available. The committee provides a design for the clothing and with the help of sponsors they manage to keep the clothing very affordable.
