- He/she who is a member of an SSV will be given priority for inclusion on the list of participants above him/her who is not a member of such association;

When registering, everyone is asked for their seasonal times for the 500, 1000, 1500 meter to give. Persons who have a season time of season 22/23, of season 21/22 and of season 20/21, are required to fill this in. Persons who have no season time of season 22/23, of season 21/22 and of season 20/21 can leave the question blank or 00:00:00 fill.
about €33, 4 – Participation outside competition
Persons who do not meet the requirements of article 1, can only participate in the tournament if there are more places available than there are people who have registered for the article 1 to fulfil. This way, these people are automatically placed at the bottom of the reserve list. Only if it turns out that there is enough space, these people will be added to the participant list. To avoid misunderstandings, serves the Organization (d.i. the members of the Competition Committee of DSSV ELS and USSV Softijs) personally notify those involved if they can participate. Persons who fall into this category participate outside of competition; that is, their driven times are registered, but they don't compete for the win in the standings.

The registration fee will be settled afterwards via the SSVs where the participants are members. The final registration fee will also be determined afterwards, with a maximum of €37.50 (say: thirty-seven euros fifty) per participant.
Persons who register but are not a member of an SSV must submit within one week after registration, but no later than 24 February 2022, transfer the registration fee to NL51 ABNA 0552 4048 45 ten name van DSSV ELS te Delft, stating “IUT Thialf” and the name of the registered person. This also applies if the registered person is not on the list of participants, but is on the reserve list. The organization must ensure that the entry list is fully updated on the day prior to the competition and that non-competitive participants have been personally informed.
He/she who is a participant, but does not register in time will not be placed on the start list and therefore cannot participate. However, the person must pay the registration fee afterwards if this is the case, as a non-SSV member, has not happened before. There is no discussion about this. Only those who do want to participate and are late for registration, but before closing the signup (so no later than thirty minutes before the start of the match) contacted the organization by phone, will be placed on the starting list and can participate.
If he/she is a participant, but cannot participate due to a corona infection he/she does owe a registration fee if no reserve driver/drivers can replace him/her who is a participant.
about €33, 7 – Program components and numbers of participants
The tournament will be held in six groups that all ride two distances. At the time of writing, there are a total of 128 spots available, as soon as registration is open, it will be monitored in which category how many registrations are made, thus the average level (and the average duration of rides) be estimated. Based on this, the Organization may decide to increase or decrease the maximum number of participants in specific groups.
The program parts per group are these:
- Women's Division A: 500 meters and 1500 meter
- Women's Division B: 500 meters and 1500 meter
- Women's Division C: 500 meters and 1000 meter
- Men's Division A: 500 meters and 1500 meter
- Men's Division B: 500 meters and 1500 meter
- Men's Division C: 500 meters and 1000 meter
The division into divisions is based on the time limits set by the NSSU. Classification is based on driving times in the current season. If those times are not available, only personal records are taken into account. If a participant has never raced before or cannot transfer registered times, will it be placed in division C.
about €33, 8 – Ice Rink Rules
During the tournament, the house rules of Ice Stadium Thialf are in force at all times. In addition, the following applies::
- Riders and coaches must enter the ice from the center area;
- At the start, speed should be reduced in the entry lane;
- Participants who want to use their racing bike with Tacx, should place these in the middle area. Cycling in the stadium (that is, on a bicycle that actually moves) is not allowed;
- Riders are expected to provide their own competition bands.
about €33, 9 – Damages
For damage caused to a participant during the competition (physical, material or of any kind) the organizing associations are in no way liable. Destruction inflicted on properties of Ice Stadium Thialf, USSV Softijs or DSSV ELS will be recovered directly from the relevant persons/parties.
