On Saturday 28 June to Sunday 6 July is the day again. De jaarlijkse zomerreis naar een nog onbekende bestemming… Wil je nou alles weten over deze reis en waar het dit jaar heen gaat? Scheer je morgen dan naar de ZBBB in de Ruif vanaf 22:00. Hier zullen we de locatie bekendmaken en alvast wat info delen!

Kun je hier nou niet bijzijn? Jammer voor je, maar alle info zal vanaf 23:00 op deze pagina te vinden zijn dus je komt zo ook alles te weten. De inschrijving zal vrijdag 11 april openen om 13:00! Dus blok dit alvast in je agenda en zorg dat je klaarzit. 🙂

Zon, Zweet, Haarloze benen.

Nadat we vorig jaar een stukje Oost-Europa soldaat hebben gemaakt tijdens de zomerreis, zitten jullie natuurlijk allemaal met maar één prangende vraag: AirmELS waar gaan we dit jaar heen?
Nou beste leden, in de zomer van 2025 goes ELS to (drum roll….) HautELS-SavoiELS!!!. Als je een slechte reden had om er gisteren niet bij te zijn, kun je hier alle belangrijke informatie vinden. Neem uiteraard contact op met de AirmELS als je vragen hebt of iets mist.

Travel date and schedule

De reis vindt plaats in de eerste week van de TU zomervakantie, so from 28 June to 6 July 2025. We leave on Saturday morning 28 juni vanuit Delft om aan het einde van de middag aan te komen op onze bestemming. Net als afgelopen jaren zullen we met auto’s gaan, aangevuld met busjes en een grote bakbus voor het fietsvervoer. On Sunday 6 juli zullen we de koers richting huis zetten om zo halverwege de avond weer thuis te zijn. On Sunday evening you can relax and start the next day fresh and fruity. The exact departure times will follow at a later stage, net als de vertreklocatie.

Accommodation

We zullen verblijven in een groepsaccommodatie in het Franse Vailly, in het departement Haute-Savoie, (wat zijn we weer ontzettend creatief geweest met de reisnaam hè), vlakbij het Thonon-les-Bains aan het meer van Genève. Deze locatie nodigt je uit om heerlijke ritjes te maken langs het water, of juist om de Alpen in te gaan en je innerlijke Pogačar te ontdekken.

Cost and Payment

Costs for this already epic journey have been budgeted at €380,- pp. This includes unforeseen costs, so there is a chance that the amount will be lower afterwards. Pay attention, the chance is present, so we can't guarantee this. As usual you pay for a total package: het vervoer op en neer van jij en je fiets, your accommodation on site, eat Drink (including alcoholic refreshments).

There will also be opportunities for undertaking activities outside of cycling, these are outside the budget and you have to pay separately. Of course the costs are kept as limited as possible.

Because ELS has to advance several things, there will be a deposit of €250,- requested. Deze wordt eind mei, after the payment of the student grant, debited from your account. So keep that in mind.

Subscribe and Unsubscribe

Registration opens on 11 april 13:00, en sluit op 25 april 23:59, (tevens de deadline voor kosteloze afmelding). The maximum number of participants is now 30 people. To register you need to log in with an ELS account. Registration is on a dibs basis.

As usual, registration is going fast. Are you late? To compress, But please sign up on the reserve list if you do want to come. If someone unsubscribes, a spot will become available. In addition, there is a chance that more participants can join. So sign up!

Wil je je na 25 april afmelden, then that is only possible if there is someone who can come in your place. We are not going to lower the number of participants. If no one can come in your place, you will unfortunately have to pay for all costs that are made for you (think especially about accommodation and transport).
