Summer trip 2025

After we made a piece of Eastern Europe soldier during the summer trip last year, Of course you are all with only one pressing question: Airmels where are we going this year?
Well dear members, in the summer of 2025 goes ELS to (drum roll….) Hauels-Savoiels!!!. On this page you can find all the important information. Of course, contact the Airmels if you have any questions or miss something.
Travel date and schedule
The trip takes place in the first week of the TU Summer vacation, so from 28 June to 6 July 2025. We leave on Saturday morning 28 June from Delft to arrive at our destination at the end of the afternoon. Just like in recent years we will go with cars, supplemented with vans and a large baking can for bicycle transport. On Sunday 6 July we will set the race in the house to get back home halfway through the evening. On Sunday evening you can relax and start the next day fresh and fruity. The exact departure times will follow at a later stage, Just like the departure location.
Accommodation
We will stay in a group accommodation in Vailly, France, In the Haute-Savoie department, (We have been very creative again with the travel name, isn't it), Near the Thonon-les-Bains on Lake Geneva. This location invites you to make delicious trips along the water, Or to go into the Alps and discover your inner Pogačar.

Cost and Payment
Costs for this already epic journey have been budgeted at €380,- pp. This includes unforeseen costs, so there is a chance that the amount will be lower afterwards. Pay attention, the chance is present, so we can't guarantee this. As usual you pay for a total package: transport up and down from you and your bike, your accommodation on site, eat Drink (including alcoholic refreshments).
There will also be opportunities for undertaking activities outside of cycling, these are outside the budget and you have to pay separately. Of course the costs are kept as limited as possible.
Because ELS has to advance several things, there will be a deposit of €250,- requested. This will be at the end of May, after the payment of the student grant, debited from your account. So keep that in mind.
Subscribe and Unsubscribe
Registration opens on 11 april 13:00, and close 25 april 23:59, (Also the deadline for free cancellation). The maximum number of participants is now 32 people. To register you need to log in with an ELS account. De inschrijving gaat op dibs basis.
As usual, registration is going fast. Are you late? To compress, But please sign up on the reserve list if you do want to come. If someone unsubscribes, a spot will become available. In addition, there is a chance that more participants can join. So sign up!
Do you want to after 25 unsubscribe, then that is only possible if there is someone who can come in your place. We are not going to lower the number of participants. If no one can come in your place, you will unfortunately have to pay for all costs that are made for you (think especially about accommodation and transport).
