Travel date and schedule
For all Delft residents and also a lot of Utrecht residents: the trip will take place during the academic spring break, so from 3 until 11 February 2018. We depart on Saturday the third at the beginning of the evening from both Delft and Utrecht to arrive on Sunday morning the fourth in Collalbo. We travel by bus: just like last year, there will be a group of drivers who will ensure a safe journey both there and back. Saturday night 10 February we leave again, so that your sunday morning 11 February back home. So plenty of time to do your laundry and recover so you can go to college fresh and fruity the next day.
The exact departure times will follow at a later stage, just like the boarding locations and (not unimportant) the place of destination.
Accommodation
We stay in separate bungalows that are a stone's throw from the ice rink, there are houses with 4, 5 and even one with 6 people. For those interested: the accommodation is called Waldquell Appartments and is part of the Spöglerhotel, which many people who have been to Collalbo before will know. We cook ourselves, this allows us to keep costs low. Just like in Sweden there is something of a schedule of houses eating together, this will send itself as soon as we are in Italy.
Cost and payment
The costs for this already epic journey have been estimated at €430.. This includes unforeseen costs, so there is a chance that the amount will be lower afterwards. Pay attention, the chance is present, so we can't guarantee this. Higher costs, on the other hand, are virtually out of the question. As usual you pay for a total package: the transport up and down, your accommodation on site, eat Drink (including alcoholic refreshments) and skating are included in the price.
There will also be opportunities for undertaking activities outside the ice, these are outside the budget and you have to pay separately. Of course the costs are kept as limited as possible. Serious research is currently being done on skiing, tobogganing and a mini city trip, if you have more suggestions you can always contact the committee.
Because Softijs and ELS have to advance different things, there will be a deposit of €250,- requested. This will be at the end of December, after the payment of the student grant, debited from your account. So keep that in mind.
Registration
Registration is open, you can register below! The maximum number of participants is 60, where in principle there is 30 ELSers and 30 can go with softies. To register you need to login, ELSers can do this with their own account, Softies have one joint account and you have to request its credentials from the board.
As usual, registration is going fast. Are you late? To compress, But sign up for the reserve list if you do want to come. You can find it under the participant list. The chance that you can still join is quite high because people always unsubscribe, so do this if you really want to!

IMPORTANT, this is different from other years: From the moment you have registered you have maximum one week to unsubscribe. We do this because experience shows that many people register quickly to be sure to unsubscribe later; with that you keep a spot occupied for someone who wants to join but was a little later with registration, The reserve list isn't that motivating either. So check before the drink whether you like 3 until 11 February are available, have enough money and want to, only register afterwards! This rule also applies to people who put their name on the reserve list.
If you want to unsubscribe after more than a week, then that is only possible if there is someone who can come in your place, So we will not adjust the number of participants down (in previous years this has led to higher costs for everyone who went along). If no one can come in your place, you will unfortunately have to pay for all costs that are made for you (think especially of accommodation and bus rental).
