Winter trip 2025
Helaas gaat dit jaar de winterreis wegens te weinig aanmeldingen niet door. Maar geen zorgen, de AirmELS is al druk bezig om voor volgend jaar een nog spectaculairdere reis te organiseren! Houd dus alvast de TU-vakantie vrij in je agenda, want hier wil je zeker bij zijn!
Zon, Ice, Snow
Yes, next winter it's a big party again. In the summer of 2021 have we been to beautiful Austria. That was an unforgettable journey. In the winter of 2025 goes ELS to (drum roll….) TirELS. Here we are going to see the beautiful outdoor ice rink, organize snowball fights, to ski, parties and much more. In case you missed the awesome presentation, you will find it below.
Travel date and schedule
The trip takes place during the TU holiday, so from 1 February to 9 February 2025. We leave on Saturday morning 1 February from Delft to arrive at our destination at the end of the day. Just like last year, we will go with cars, supplemented with vans. On Sunday 9 February we will set course for home to be home halfway through the evening. On Sunday evening you can relax and start the next day fresh and fruity. The exact departure times will follow at a later stage, just like the boarding locations.
Accommodation
During the trip we stay for the first part (1-6 February) in the same accommodation in Oberpfons as two years ago, you know, the one with the large party bunker. Hier kunnen we een keer per dag schaatsen op de ijsbaan in de stad. The ice rink is approx 30 minutes drive from this location. Verder kunnen we genieten van veel andere uitjes als rodelen en skieen en Innsbruck verkennen.

The last 4 to dawn (6-9 February) we will stay in another accommodation. Deze accommodatie bestaat uit luxe 6-persoons appartementen in hetzelfde gebouw, 20 minuten rijden van Inzell. Hier kunnen we twee keer per dag schaatsen op de mooie Max Aicher arena.

Cost and Payment
Costs for this already epic journey have been estimated at €440,- pp. This includes unforeseen costs, so there is a chance that the amount will be lower afterwards. Pay attention, the chance is present, so we can't guarantee this. As usual you pay for a total package: the transport up and down, your accommodation on site, eat Drink (including alcoholic refreshments) and skating are included in the price. Niet inbegrepen is het schaatsen in Inzell, wat per entree zal gaan en welke 16 euro is).
There will also be opportunities for undertaking activities outside the ice, these are outside the budget and you have to pay separately. Of course the costs are kept as limited as possible.
Because ELS has to advance several things, a deposit of €300 will be required,- requested. This will be at the end of December, after the payment of the student grant, debited from your account. So keep that in mind.
Subscribe and Unsubscribe
Registration opens on 6 december 13:00, en sluit op 23 december 23:59, (tevens de deadline voor kosteloze afmelding). The maximum number of participants is now 24 people. To register you need to log in with an ELS account. Registration is on a dibs basis.
As usual, registration is going fast. Are you late? To compress, But please sign up on the reserve list if you do want to come. If someone unsubscribes, a spot will become available. In addition, there is a chance that more participants can join. So sign up!
Wil je je na 23 december afmelden, then that is only possible if there is someone who can come in your place. We are not going to lower the number of participants. If no one can come in your place, you will unfortunately have to pay for all costs that are made for you (think especially about accommodation and transport).
