Pedal through the Heart of Europe
Did you manage to guess the location during drinks? 11 april? Last year was close to home in SchwarzELSwald. This year we are going to Drumroll please for the Lustrum summer trip… the beautiful Strážné in the Czech Republic. Here we will enjoy the breathtaking mountains, the spectacular views and of course not to forget. And the location is near the Krkonoše National Park.
Travel date and schedule
The summer trip is planned for the first week of the summer holidays, namely of 29 June to 7 July. Our adventure starts on Saturday morning, when we leave from Delft. We travel in several cars and have a baking van for all bicycles. We arrive at our accommodation in the early evening, where we will stay for the rest of the week. On Sunday 7 July we return to Delft. The exact departure times and boarding locations will follow at a later stage. Be there for an unforgettable week of adventure!
Accommodation
During our summer trip we stay in one beautiful accommodation, specially selected for our group of 35 people. The property offers various rooms, so that we can all enjoy a comfortable stay. As was the case with our last summer trip, will be cooked together. This is not only fun and good for group dynamics, but also a great way to discover new dishes and enjoy local flavours. We are already looking forward to cooking together and enjoying the culinary delights we will discover during our journey!
Cost and Payment
Costs for this already epic journey have been budgeted at 285,- pp. This includes unforeseen costs, so there is a chance that the amount will be lower afterwards. Pay attention, the possibility exists, so we can't guarantee this. As usual you pay for a total package: the transport up and down, your accommodation on site, eat Drink (including alcoholic refreshments).
There will also be opportunities for undertaking activities outside of cycling, these are outside the budget and you have to pay separately. Of course the costs are kept as limited as possible. A mini city trip is currently being looked at, to walk, mountain biking, if you have more suggestions you can always contact the committee.
Because ELS have to advance different things, will be a deposit of €200 ,- requested. So keep that in mind.
Travel Insurance and Terms and Conditions
The trips that the AirmELS organizes will always be checked for risk and we try to keep the risk as small as possible. However, it is possible that things always happen with force majeure. If you have any questions about it, you can always email us secretaris@dssvels.com.

Subscribe and Unsubscribe
Registration is open from 12 april 13 hours to 19 april 23:55 hour. The maximum number of participants is now 35 people. To register you need to log in with an ELS account. Registration is on a dibs basis.
As usual, registration is going fast. Are you late? To compress, But please sign up on the reserve list if you do want to come. If someone unsubscribes, a spot will become available. So sign up!
You have until 19 april 23:55 to unsubscribe at no cost. If you want to unsubscribe after more than a week, then that is only possible if there is someone who can come in your place. We are not going to lower the number of participants. If no one can come in your place, you will unfortunately have to pay for all costs that are made for you (think especially about accommodation and transport).
