Have you been skating for years and do you want to get much better or would you rather go Ice Skating? Everything is possible at ELS. ELS has members who have been skating for years and compete seriously, but also new members every year who tie the irons for the first time and learn to skate together.. In addition to skating, you can also cycle at ELS during the year, peeled and dried trained (running, core, weight training) turn into. So we are not only active in winter, but also when the ice has melted and the sun is shining. Outside the training sessions there are also plenty of opportunities to relax. Some examples of this are:
- Each 2 For weeks we have a drink in Café de Klok
- Holidays abroad, both in winter and in summer
- Student competitions throughout the country combined with a party
- Own parties in Delft and other cities at our sister associations
- WheELS, every year with Ascension we go cycling together with our sister association from Utrecht
So would you like to learn to skate or are you already good at skating and do you want to combine that with many fun activities throughout the year?? Then ELS might be the ideal association for you to start your student life!
During the first two weeks of the new academic year we are organizing a few intro training sessions in which you can participate:
Tuesday 1 and 8 sept.: Droogtraining (bootcamp) (running, core and strength training)
With the `droogtraining' we try to mimic skating on dry land. Lots of balance, technique- and strength exercises for the legs, a little running and core stability. The ultimate workout to get and stay fit

What am I taking with me?: a sporty outfit
Pay attention!: Tuesday 8 sept. is the dry training in the Delftse Hout, i.v.m. from BBQ which is planned after.
Wednesday 2 and 9 sept.: Inline skating training

Nice rollerblading on the rollerblading track in Nootdorp. All skates are fine, but a helmet is mandatory.

Wednesday 9 September you can borrow material once, more info will follow.
Thursday 3 and 10 sept.: Cycling training
Cycling can be skate-specific! Come see what it's like! A racing bike and helmet are required.

Are you an experienced skater or do you want to learn how to skate? You could do both at ELS. ELS has both experienced skaters and persons that skate for their first time. Beside skating, you could do cycling, inline skating, running and core stability, to be prepared when the winter is coming. Besides the training, we have the following other activities:
- A drink every two weeks
- Twice a year a vacation to a foreign country
- Student competitions throughout the country, combined with a party
- Parties in Delft or at our sister associations
- WheELS, a weekend cycling with our sister association from Utrecht
